To build the bar armor for the deckhouse follow the assembly tutorial for the Zippo Boat. You will need to use the kit supplied styreen rod and strips for this step.
However, please note the positioning of the deckhouse on the deck is critical. WARNING! If you do not follow these instructions the turret will not fit on the bow. Ensure you push the deckhouse all the way back so that it touches the rear engine hatch as shown here. You will need to build the bar armor supports over the hatch.
When positioning the deckhouse also ensure that it is places between the two large vents as shown here. The vents are angles so that they fit under the bar armor so it might be wise to glue the vents in position after you glue the deckhouse to the hull.
Add the large vent to the side of the deckhouse, under the bar armor. The photo etched brass tops are cut, bent and glued into position as shown here..
Add the siren as shown here.
At this point you should check the positioning of the deckhouse and turret to ensure it will fit before you glue it into position.
