The gun tubs I purchased were in really bad shape and in desperate need of a make over.

Restorations of the Mark 56 Turrets as of Jan 2009. They look much better cleaned and repaired. Next they will get a fresh coat of Marine Corps Green Semi-gloss paint, Federal Standard 24052 (FS24052).

Damage to the elevation pistons was hidden using PVC tubing.

I used Marine Corps Green semi-gloss as the base color.

Painting the interior. The brass collectors were painted flat black.
